SEQUENCE FOR YOUR SKINCARE ROUTINE FOR AM @ PM

Hi Everyone,
A question I am asked consistently and continuously is: "What is the proper order of a skincare routine". Here is my recommendation:

AM:
  1. CLEANSE
  2. TONER (If you use a toner)
  3. ESSENCE (If you use a essence)
  4. SERUM
  5. EYE CREAM
  6. MOISTURIZER
  7. SUNSCREEN (SPF) ALWAYS!!!!!!!!

PM:
  1. CLEANSING OIL
  2. CLEANSER
  3. TONER (If you use a toner)
  4. ESSENCE (If you use a essence)
  5. SERUM
  6. EYE CREAM
  7. MOISTURIZER

I do recommend a DOUBLE CLEANSE (Cleansing Oil followed by your regular cleanser) in the evening. This is due to daily use of makeup and accumulation of dust, pollution etc. on the skin throughout the day. The first cleanse with cleansing oil will break down make up and surface debris. The second cleanse actually cleanses the skin.
I consider using toners optional. In the past cleansers were not water soluble, meaning they did not break down on contact with water while rinsing, so therefore needed a toner to remove the residue. Most cleansers today, not all, are water soluble. Rinse them well and then rinse once more. Double check your cleanser to verify if it is water soluble or not. If you are not into rinsing or question yourself, THEN USE A TONER!!

Essence products have become very popular. They usually give great hydrating benefits. A hydrated skin is important to help absorption of your serum, moisturizer anything you apply after. Many essence products also contain anti-inflammatory/anti-oxidant ingredients. I personally use and recommend essence products.

If you want to keep your routine even simpler you can get away with Cleanse, Tone, Moisturize every morning and evening. Yet, sunscreen is MUST for EVERYONE! EVERYDAY! I feel this is the single most important step for the health of your skin. Not to mention prevention of skin cancer.
I look forward to your comments, questions

Wishing everyone HEALTHY SKIN!!
